Devi Sri Prasad Confirmed as Music Director for Gabbar Singh

It is confirmed now. Devi Sri Prasad is doing music for Pawan Kalyan- Harish Shankar film ‘ Gabbar
Singh’. The film is currently having music sittings in Devi’s studio in Chennai. Gabbar Singh is a
remake of hindi film Dabangg and from the day the project is announced it has gained enormous
craze in the filmi circles thanks to the combinations involved. Harish Shankar was just back from his
blockbuster ‘Mirapakaay’ and the combination of Powerstar and the director has created ripples in
the industry. Along with that there were many rumors on the star cast and music director. It is now
confirmed that Devi Sri Prasad is indeed doing music for the film though there is no official confirmation.
Harish Shankar has recently completed the script along with dialogues and narrated to power star.
Power star is reportedly impressed with the script and the film has now progressed to the music sittings.
Currently Gabbar Singh team is doing music of the film in Devi Sri Prasad’s studio in Chennai. There are
huge expectations on the music of this film as their earlier film Jalsaa was a big hit musically and since
Dabangg is a big hit musically, there are expectations that Devi will give his best to beat Dabangg in
terms of music too.
The film is expected to go on floors in July and release for Pongal 2012. Iam sure the film is going to be a
feast to Power Star fans and will create records at box office.
