Heroine Anushka has been chosen as Pawan Kalyan`s co-star for the Aditya Productions film in the direction of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.
Konda Krishnam Raju is the producer. The producer told the media that the entry of Anushka into the project has further heightened the expectation levels.
"Though the life and times of Jesus Christ would dominate our story, it will also deal with the contemporary happenings in a big way."
It is for the first time that Anushka is set to share the screen with Pawan Kalyan, though she has been cast opposite most of the Tollywood heroes.
The producer said that the film, which is coming up in English, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam, has some of the best Hollywood technicians working for it. The next schedule spread over 80 days will be extensively shot in Jordon, Italy and Israel. Michael Westmore is the makeup man for the venture.
Krishnam Raju said that the film will be releasing in November in all languages simultaneously.
JK Bharavi provides dialogues. Cinematography is by Sekhar V Joseph. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
